Marathon Relay was organised as part of the 150th birthday celebrations
for Western Australia.

is a sub committe of the Bridgetown Rotary Club and comprises of
Rotarians and non Rotartians.

When is the Blackwood Marathon
Held.
The Blackwood
Marathon Relay is always held on the last Saturday in October.

What type of water craft can be
used.
All types of
self propelled water craft can be used. The river course
is mostly long pools with some flowing water over rocks amd around
trees. Portage is necessary at some parts of the course. Conditions can
vary and do depend on the water level.

Can I compete in more than one leg.
Yes, by
placing your name
on the entry form for all legs to be competed and signing the legal
waiver you are indicating that
you have trained and are competent to compete in the sections
entered.

Yes, provided
that they are different legs. By placing your name
on each teams entry form for each leg to be competed and signing the
legal waiver you are indicating that
you have trained and are competent to compete in the sections
entered.

Can we
compete
without a horse.
Yes, enter as
normal but
leave the equestrian section blank. You may subsequently find a horse
or one may be provided. If on the day you compete and complete all legs
except the equestrian you will default into the Non Equestrian section
(NE).
